Due to my room being in examination-mode now, all my figurines are in my boxes. Hahaa! When exam's are over, come 13th november, I'll post pictures of them up! For now, here're the boxes they're residing in.

That is a really a great collection you have there. I'm so jealous of all the Gundams you have !

Ok, my turn. Pics were taken very very quickly, without flash and with the sun setting outside, so they are FAR from good ^^' (and to think it mostly takes me 10 to 15 minutes to take a good picture I like (had a course photography). So yeah, this quick shoot was really hard for me )


Let's start with the machine I spend most of my time looking at, hehe (an Acer Aspire 1711SMi). Left: my current wallpaper; Right: my ever so lovely screensaver (it's very popular @ work ! Really )
And a 'small' *lol* detail. I currently have 35.792 anime images (walls, screenshots, scans, official art, fan art, self-made stuff, ...) on my two laptops.



Next, my DVD collection. On the first two pics, you see most of my DVD's. I don't have place to display them all, since all those collector's editions occupy so much space. I now have 72 bought DVD's.



Here are two detail shots. The 3d one is an example of one of the Limited edition boxes with unique number, I have. This one (the movie Origine) is limited to 6000 worldwide. (and the black thing on the 2nd one is my new mp3 player with flip-out woofer)



Of course I don't buy ALL the series I have ever seen. I have a nice collection of self-made DVD's (torrents). I currently have 194. On the pics, a detail of the covers I make for every DVD I burn. As you can see, I make a front cover, inside cover and a back cover for every box.



Next, let's move on to all the stuff on paper. I currently have 458 manga/manwha. As you can see, lots of them still are in bags, since I'm still working on the new cupboard I'll place them in. On the second pic, the magazines I buy every one or two months. These are the non-Japanese ones. As for Japanese ones, I have Newtype and Animage (used to have more in the past). There's too many of them to count. But to give you guys an idea, what you can see on the 3d pic is about 15% of my anime magazines collection. (and then I also have an even bigger collection of truck, bus and train magazines !!!)



Let's head on to my display cupboard. Level 0 (not on the pic) is for my (super pricey) model trains, levels 1, 2 and 3 are for my (also pricey) model trucks/buses. And level 4 is for some of my figurines, such as Squall and Sephiroth from FF, and Axel from Kingdom Hearts, ...



... and Vaan and Vincent, also from FF. On the right, a line-up.



On top of my display cupboard, I have 3 smaller figurines: (from L to R) Cloud (Kingdom Hearts version). In the middle, Luke from Tales of the Abyss, my fav game character. He's so cool ! And on the right, Tear, also from Tales of the Abyss. On the bg, you can by the way see the boxes Luke and Tear came in.



Just for fun, a pic of some of my model trucks. The red Volvo FH12 is the most expensive one I have. The Blue Renault Kerax is the newest one. On the other two pictures, 2 'Kabags'. Gifts I got from manwha editor Tokebi, for being a good customer. I have several, but these 2 are my fav ones. These rare bags are really HUGE and show several main characters from popular manwha series. Real collector items !



And to finish, the 3 most beloved pieces from my collection. First of all, 2 state of the art figurines from Lamento Beyond the Void. On the left, Rai. On the right, my fav, Asato. These figurines are of an amazing quality. I totally adore them. You can place the swords in their holder, ... You can even take off Asato's shirt to reveal his muscled body (we kinda look alike, lol).
As you can see on the 2nd pic, they come (in a super deluxe box) with an Original Short Drama CD, each ! Luckily, I understand some Japanese
They really are like my children. I cherrish these two neko's like no other thing in the world.



And of course, my Freedom model ! It's a Bandai scale 1/100 Master Grade (!), so the level of detail is really amazing. It costed me quite some money, but it was worth the buy. And as you can see, I put mine in battle display. So far my only Gundam model, but as soon as I find another one at a convention, I'll buy it. Can't wait to put another one together !




This is just a part of my collection. It would have taken me too long to take pics of everything.

Next to all of this, I also have a lot of goodies, several art books, lots of posters, games, game magazines, J-pop music, and other anime related stuff.

Every month, I buy a new load of DVD's, manga/manwha, goodies, magazines. I also try to make my very 'young' collection of figurines (only half a year since I started collecting) bigger when I can. In other words, my collection grows every month.

Another big collection of mine, which is simply too big to take pictures from, is my Eurobeat music collection. I have every single disc you can find (SEB's, Maharaja Night's, Euromach's, ...). That means, over 250 to 300 discs (and rising ).

Thanx you guys. That's really sweet what you wrote. I do admit that I'm really obsessed when it comes to collecting and that I now clearly can't live without anime anymore. But from what I've seen, the same goes for you two.

Yeah. Those FF figurines are soooo darn cool. I'd love to add Cloud to my collection, but he's currently sold out over here. (or you have to buy the scale 1/4 version, but that is a bit too expensive to please me ^^'). I like my figurine of Vincent most. It's super detailed. His claws are REALLY sharp ! And of course, he's total class.

Well, it's been neater over here than it is right now. But I do like my room to look clean. Besides, with all the stuff I have, I simply can't affort to turn my collection into a mess.

Lamento is a game. But of course there are some smaler manga stories based on it. It's actually a yaoi-type of game, that's why the males are all bishies. But I don't care if it's yaoi (a real anime fan watches, reads and collects every type of anime/manga/game. Except Shota. To that I say no)
You bet they are amazing ! What I didn't say yet is that Asato (the dark brunette), you can even see his fangs ! (not visible on my pics).
I'm ever so glad that Damien @ the shop I always go to gladly ordered them for me. And well, the price was really ok. (don't know how much it is in Dollars, since over here we pay in Euros). And yes, PVC indeed, hand painted.

Going a tiny, tiny bit off topic. Here are 4 of the best and most favourite pictures I took the past 3 years, to prove that those pics of my collection DO are far from great in my opinion.
As you can see, I love to photograph sunsets, beach scenery, buildings with floral foregrounds, and black & white pics. For that last one, I even closed down that little road so I could go lay down on the middle of the road to take the pic.
Average time to get a good pic ... takes me about 15 to 20 minutes each.

Never played a yaoi game, but I suppose it's like all other yaoi stuff; males making love to other males I know the background of the Lamento story though.
No no, hehe, I didn't paint them myself. What I meant is that they are painted by hand, not by machines.


Domo arigato. I'm glad you like my photos. I also like the second one very much. Especially because nobody knows what it is, without asking the artist (me XD). They're shells ! A type of long, flat shells you can find here at our coast. That pic is actually taken at the beach in Nieuwpoort. But since I was lying on my stomach, you can't really tell it is a beach. And that was actually what I wanted.
The shell I put upwards and a small circle around it had to be sharp, all the rest blurry, so that turned out fine. Also, I 'played' with the diafragma of the camera, to get the brownish colour. That way, at a certain point, it looks like a pile of rusty scrap metal. (yes, I do think a lot before I take a picture)

I must have seen G Wing about 5 to 6 times by now. I have the manga series and all the side stories as well. I also have seen Endless Waltz several times, and I think it's much better than the series (the artwork is much much nicer).
Wing Zero is indeed a fabulous machine. Great design and power. But to be honest, I'm also more of a fan of the CE Gundams ^^
G Wing also had lots of great songs, especially those performed by Two-Mix (Rhythm Emotion, White Reflection, La Vie en Rose, ...).

Well I haven't played one of those type of games, so that remains a question to me as well. I do remember seeing a pic of the game Star Ocean 3 once, where you need to have sex with one of the other male characters to get to the next stage.

Yes I know there are a lot of resin kits. I'd love to have one of Kenshin. But these Lamento figurines are already painted when you buy them (nice and easy ), and I must say, a great job done by those people.

Indeed. And to me, taking photographs is a an artistic hobby. I always try to find the most expressive way to capture something or somebody on a photo. In other words, I don't just want a pretty image. No, I want something with a deep story behind it, or a mysterious feeling it creates.

*nods* Yes, Gaia X Chaos X Abyss is a great track too. It's also on my mp3 player and in my J-pop 'Best Tracks' file on my laptop.

The newest addition to my already quite large anime collection is this limited Gravitation DVD collector. The DVD's (complete series + OVA) came in this ever so lovely backpack !

It was rather pricey, but it was worth the buy. Especially since these are limited to only 400 ! I was very lucky to get the last one at the store where I always buy my anime DVD's.
I really adore this backpack. It's so lovely. I'm already taking it with me everywhere, like samurai training and to the gym, where they all say it's really cool.

I've made 3 pics (as I promised to tanth). I didn't photograph the DVD's, since they only just look like ... DVD's. XD
