Rules that must be followed Empty
PostSubject: Rules that must be followed   Rules that must be followed EmptyWed 23 Aug - 22:58

Hey everyone theses are the rules you must follow.

General Rules

-No cussing

-You may not post words that are censored by adding spaces, dots, or substituting characters or by any other means in an attempt to defeat any censors put in place by the administator. If you do the post or topic will be edit or deleted by a moderator or the administator.

-While debating and discussion is fine, we will not tolerate rudeness, insulting posts, personal attacks or purposeless inflammatory posts.

-Please refrain from posting meaningless threads, one word (or short) non-sense posts, or the such.

-Multiple or repeated posting of the same thing in order to increase your post count is not allowed.

-Spamming is not allowed, users posting spamm will be warned and their post removed.

-No inapproate images or porn.

-Please be respectful, members should post in a way that is respectful of other users. Flaming or abusing users in any way will not be tolerated and will lead to a warning.

-Discussion of illegal activities such as software and music piracy and other intellectual property violations are not allowed.

-We reserve the right to remove offensive posts or topic without notice.

-If you are going to post non-English, please also post an English Translation of your post.

-Posts are to be made in the relevant forum. Users are asked to read the forum descriptions before posting. Users consistently posting to the wrong forum may be given a warning

-Cross-Posting is not allowed here. Cross-posting refers to posting new duplicate threads or posts, or the linking to threads or posts already started by the member with the intention of gaining exposure.

-You may not bump threads. Bumping can refer to posting useless information, posting one-liners or any other action to deliberately keep a thread hot or to bring it to the top of its forum. Moderators or administator will use their discretion, depending on the nature of the post, as to whether to take action or not.

-You may not post on behalf of any banned member in any public manner. This includes all forums, private messages, signatures, and e-mail features.

-Public posts debating these rules and or moderators' enforcement of such, will be removed without comment. We encourage feedback however if you have any questions.

-The rules also apply to private messaging, abuse of the private messaging system may lead to warnings.

-Your account is yours alone. You are responsible for any activity created with it. If you choose to ignore this important restriction and if the person you let use your account gets a warning or is banned, the account will be banned. You may register for a new account if you reread the rules in the rule category again and contact the administator and if they approve you may reregister.

-Also while these rules cover most common situations, they cannot anticipate everything. Consequently we reserve the right to take any actions we deem appropriate to ensure these forums are not disrupted or abused in any way.

-We also reserve the right to ban anyone who wilfully violates the forum rules. A banned member may register again if he or she has contacted the administrator and has approved if they may reregister.

Signature Rules

-Signatures are subjected to the same rules as posts, in that no cuss words or inapproate images can be used for signatures.

-Average size signature would be 500 by 250 pixels, wegith by height.
Maximum size would be 500 by 300 pixels, weight by height.

-Multiple images are allowed in your signature as long as your signature doesnt become very long the average number should be at least 2.

-If you do not follow any of theses rules either me or the moderators will have to delete or edit your signature and you will recieve a warning.

Avatar Rules

-Avatars are subject to the same conditions as posts with respect decency, and no inapproate images or porn.

-Users abusing these rules will be warned and or may lose their avatar privileges. If a member who has had their avatar privilages taken away and and has read the rules in the rules category again and will change their avatar and will promise not to break the rules again may contact the administator and if the administator aproves you may have your avatar back.

Profiles

-In your profiles you cannot include any cuss words, harassment, sexually explicit content.

Policing

-We have a three strike policy. Users will be warned a maximum of three times for any and all offences in a four month period. If the need arises for a fourth warning a temporary ban will be put in place of between 1 to 7 days.

-Users who feel they have been unfairly warned are welcome to contact the moderator that warned them or the administator. If they feel you were treated badly they will remove a warning.

-Any attempt to circumvent a temporary ban or other moderator action will lead to a permanent ban of your accounts. Circumvention includes re-registering or using an already registered account under a non-banned username. Other examples include changing IP addresses, using a new email account or other action that can be taken to evade moderator action to hide your identity as the owner of the sanctioned account.

-An exception to the three strike rule applies when users contact the moderators or administator personally (via any method) and post insulting, indecent or vulgar material. Such users may be subject to an immediate permanent ban.

-Permanent bans are a last resort and thought is given before implementing them. While the administator may consider lifting permanent bans from time to time this is a rare occurrence.

Sincerly you Administrator, thingperson

I will be sure to inforce them for you with all my might Wink LOL.

A little notice to all members, if I catch you breaking one of the rules I will try to inform you of your behavior before your actions get to serious. Before it leads you to the crucial punishment that is fair and just announced by thingperson up above. Very Happy Thankyou.

Technically, bashing is beating someone up. Of course, here it means that we don't allow members to start any form of verbal fighting, saying things that might hurt your fellow members' feelings, making fake or rash accusations, ... Any of these result in a warning, followed by being banned if it gets worse or continues.

Well as long as it not vulgar, rude, or hateful and you always type that you are joking or teasing you will not get in trouble. It really just depends on the content post and how me or the moderators feel the post was meant to be taken as a joke or as bashing.
