I was pretty shocked too. I still had this bad feeling that something might happen to him, but after seeing the articles in several Japanese magazines where they showed entire spreads with Lockon wearing his eyepatch, I thought they would keep him alive. Although, now that I think of it, in the latest Animedia, it's Allelujah who once again is holding Haro.
It's creepy to see 3 Gundam pilots getting killed in only 2 episodes. I hope Setsu, Alle and even Vowels will survive until season 2.

He looks real cool with his eyepatch but alas, it didn't last long enough. Making him blind in an eye is bad enough, killing him is just so terrible.
Ah? That sounds like a good image though. And I really doubt they'll kill off Setsuna so soon. I mean, he IS the main character afterall. XD;; As for Alle and Tieria, I don't wish to see more characters die. =\

On a happier note, in March's Animage, the writer for SEED explained the absence and long promised SEED movie. Seems like she was sick or something. Well, at least it hasn't been canceled.

With his eyepatch, he kinda made me think of Albator. And I must say that it indeed didn't made him lose any of his coolness.
It's Gurren Lagann all over again, killing of one of the main characters.
I guess they might kick in his twin brother next episodes or season. OR, maybe Lockon won't be dead. After all, in Gundam Wing, we all thought Trowa was dead when his blue MS exploded, but then he turned out to be ok (except for the temporary loss of memory).
Yeah, it's a really good image. Too bad it now makes me sad every time I look at it. I hope too that they stop killing any more Meisters. It'd be awfull if they would kill my beloved Allelujah.
