Anyone here write fanfics?

I'm not asking for specific AsuCaga writers (although those are welcome too), I'm just asking for writers in general. I feel like I'm the only one on this forum who makes fics instead of making sketches or vectors.

No you're not. If you check the Fanfics section in the Art section of the forum, you'll see that we have several writers here. HotaruZala being the biggest one. I also know that Vorahk and Thingperson write. Thingperson made an awesome Asucaga lemon.

Me too I write. I haven't done any real fanfics however. When I write, my stories nearly always feature OC's (Original Characters). I've started writing my own anime series Demon's Wings, but since I have little spare time, I had to put that project on stop for unknown time.

I still write though. I'm doing an RPG with somebody on Minitokyo. It's called War ! Angels vs. Demons. Again, almost all of my characters (and I have a lot), are OC's. It's extreme fun writing that RPG. Stephen and I have already written so much that I had to submit a second thread ! (an average post of mine is about 2 pages in Microsoft WORD ^^')


So, what stories or fanfics do you write ? If you have some Asucaga one's, would you mind sharing them with us. ^^

Comedies are nice. I haven't written a full one though. Mainly, I write drama or action, which I spice up with some comedy or cibi'esque scenes every now and then. ^^ (really nuts stuff, believe me XD)

Yeah, OC's are great. The way you can completely build out their looks, lifestory, ... And I always have the habbit of creating really tight bonds with my OC's. And I mean REAL tight ones.

You used the main character (Minato Arisato, to use the name he has in the manga) from Persona 3 as a base for your character, right ? He looks cool. Love the hair colour !

Hm.. The reason I haven't created any OCs yet is because I'm not sure if readers would like them in fanfics. 'Cause personally, I read fanfics for the characters in the show. XD;;
An RPG is a whole different matter already.

If my OC would get to meet Kuro, I'll model my OC after me so that I can meet Kuro per se. XD

My main OC is probably Testament. He was the first one I made, and thus the one prominently featured in my fics, though he had a different name in my older ones. He's got a habit of dropping things on Athrun's head, and pushing him into Cagalli, just to see Kira's brotherly overprotectiveness. Also, he's the one of the components that forms Takeshi. If a secondary would be worth mentioning, it'd be Twilight, because he's the other component that forms Takeshi.

Oh, you've played Persona 3? Heh, I'm already on my fourth run...I'm pretty much near-obsessed. Still not as obsessed with that as Asucaga, though.

Good point. As far as I know, some readers like OC's in a fanfic, others hate it. It's all about personal taste. ^^
The chat-fanfic (so sadly I don't have it anymore) I once did didn't have any OC's either. It's like you said, OC's are better to be used in RPG's or completely original stories. But I see no harm in one or two to spice up a fanfic a bit, as long as they fit in well. ^^

Hahahahaha XD I should've known that you were going to say something like that. XD I have to say that Kuro sure misses the tail-patting
In the meantime, I've already enlarged my group of RPG charas ... again. ^^ Kuro's four Shikigami have joined the story. (yep ! Kuro's the master of Soryu, Toda, Suzaku and Byakko !)

See, what you just wrote, that's the real fun part about OC's ! Like the way my main character Kuro, a half-breed demon (and son of Satan !) who leads one of the clans of the Underworld, has a bloodthirsty alter-ego called Kiba. (he has quite a complicated personality and life, so I'll save you the long details unless you want them )

Yeah, a friend of mine has bought the game. Since I can always go over at his place to play, I didn't have to buy the game myself. I do own the Persona manga.
4th run ! Wow. Impressive !

Twilight isn't really all fun and games, though - in fact, he hates fun so much he wants to beat up the guy who invented fun in the first place - so he often makes attempts on stopping Testament's half-brained plots; most of this takes place behind the scenes of my fics, though he will lend a hand if he deems it interesting. And yet, most of the time he fails to prevent any of it from happening because Testament has that tendency to put a plan in motion ASAP, leading to Twilight taking the pain from Kira.

It's hard to not want to do as much as you can in P3, since you never really know how the people there will react to the choices you make.

What's a chat-fanfic? o-o Well, it's true how OCs do play some roles in a fanfics. Yea, we can't deny their importance altogether. I just can't seem to appreciate those that have a somewhat intimate relationship with the characters themselves. XD Kinda give disregard to the original stories.

Wow, now I'm even more interested in your story and characters after hearing that. Oh and I meant that it's fun how you can create characters with such background. ^^ Some have a really complicated life story. My Kuro's the best example. Here's his life very shortly (still long enough XD):

- he's a half-breed demon, half Satanic, half Naware. The fact that he's a half-breed makes him much stronger than other demons, but at the same time have certains dislike him

- he never really knew his mother all that well, since she died after giving birth to his younger brother Seiji. Kuro was only 2 years old

- his father Akira, better known as Satan, took care of him with much love and care, but when Kuro was 4, he got killed in a brutal an foul way. Kuro saw his father dying in front of his own eyes, at such young age

- the ones that killed Akira, took Kuro and Seiji to train them to become the ultimate weapons of evil. Seiji soon proved not skilled enough, but Kuro on the other hand proved to have an enormous potential

- for 9 years, Kuro lived in the most horrible conditions. Caged like a wild animal, tortured when not wanting to cooperate, and constantly being raped

- at the age of 11, he got rebellious. This resulted in Kuro getting drugged and forced to kill his own brother. The shock afterwards resulted in Kuro's hate transforming into some sort of alter-ego, the bloodthursty and insane Kiba

- at the age of 13, Kuro managed to escape, but got badly wounded. A young demon called Kyou took care of him and offered Kuro to come live with him and be his student. Kyou trained Kuro, and soon Kuro surpassed Kyou completely. The hard training has made him encredibly strong (yet he often lacks any feel for tactics or is too impulsive), and for somebody of his age he has an unbelievably strong body

- on his 18th birthday, he went on a journey, wanting to discover the world. He met a lot of people, but not always the right ones. That combined with Kiba taking the upper hand most of the time, Kuro became a ruthles angel-killer

- at the age of 20, he got back to his homecountry, and met a demon called Neosia. It seemed that destiny had chosen Kuro to be the new leader of the Mahitojo clan, better known as the Southern Region of the Underworld. Lacking any skills of being a leader, Kuro accepted his destiny, and during the past year has become one of the most beloved and skilled leaders the clan has ever known

- Kuro's now 21. He leads the Mahitojo clan with great passion, and has become a fighter for the good again, just like his father was. One of the 12 Elite Fighters of the clan, Archior, turned out to be Kuro's one year older half-brother

- Kuro's look also changed during the years, mainly when his Satanic roots bloomed. He's now 1.87 meters tall and weighs about 75 kilograms, which is all solid muscle. He's quite obsessed about training his muscles, especially his abs. He has a tanned skin, yellow eyes, long pointy ears, streamlined horns, sharp claws and fangs, and a magnificent long fuzzy tail. Most eye-catching is his long (and I mean LONG, passing his butt) emerald-green hair, which to him is his pride (how silly it may seem). Despite his terrible yought, Kuro's very lively, is always in the mood for a good laugh and making fun with his friends, and is very strong in social contacts, despite his high sence of self-pride. He has a strong will and is a real fighter, although he gets emotional quite quickly. He cares deeply about his friends, his people, and especially his brother Archior.


That is very basically who Kuro is. All my characters have detailed backgrounds like this, and I have about 30 characters, so you can make the count of how much time I spent creating my beloved demon gang.

A chat-fanfic is making some sort of live fanfic during online chatting on Windows Live Messenger (still MSN back then). There was 4 of us chatting, each of us having a character (I was Kira ). It was real fun, AND a cool story, although we had no idea at all of what to write when we started.

It indees does. But that's why it's a fanfic, ne . And sometimes, it can really make things very interesting.

Again indeed. I was planning them to join in for a while already, but had to wait for the right occasion. Byakko still even has to be introduced.
Toda and Soryu sure are as cool as Kuro. Especially Toda is a dashing specimen, lol. Still, Kuro remains the sexiest

Real tragic...losing both his parents in his childhood must be rough for him, but those other demons had to make it worse for him by abusing him. Poor Kuro...

Well, at least he got some good out of enduring all of that. He's the head of a demon clan and now he's fighting his heart out to protect good.

Although, the split personality part's a bit similar to the situation prior to what my OCs are today; Twilight was the darker side of Testament's personality before his present incarnation: a ruthless obliterator in that when he's active, he tends to destroy everything in sight, except Testament's friends, since Twilight knows better than to mess with someone close to his other self. They eventually split and Twilight was never seen again 'til half a year later.

By the way, is he the guy in your avatar?

And I think you spent at least three years or so making all those demon OCs. That's just my guess, though; correct me if I'm mistaken.

Yeah, Kuro has had a most horrible past. It's a miracle he dind't die, seen the conditions he used to live in for 9 whole years. But in the end, it has made him stronger, and it was a proof that he has a very strong will for survival.

He indeed had more luck with his life once past the age of 13. The Mahitojo clan is one of the largest and most respected ones, so he can be proud of being its leader. And it's nice how much he wants to achieve the dream his father had (peace between all races and species).

It's the same with Kiba. He won't hurt Kuro's friends, but he shows no mercy for anybody else. Kuro and Kiba still share the same body. Kuro's looks change a bit when Kiba takes over control, but that's all.

Nope. The guy in my avater is Guren, from Shounen Onmyouji. I did base another OC on Guren. His name is Toma Kobayashi, and he's the Guardian of the North and Leader of the 4 guardians.

I created Kuro about 3 years ago, so I've indeed been working on all my OC's profiles for 3 years now. Wow, good guess !

Yep, perfect guess. The baseline of the story was Kira and Athrun trying to trick the girls. Kira had accidentally fallen while getting out of the cockpit of his Strike Freedom. At first, nothing seemed wrong, but then Kira's health took a drastic dive. In the end, he even died, making Lacus and Cagalli go mad from sadness. But not for real. It was all a joke made up by Athrun. Of course, the girls were pissed off good and kicked their asses. XD

That's a possibility. And it could make the fans become even stronger lovers of the original couple ! Just look at the reactions Nena kissing Setsuna in 00 caused, lol.

Myeah, he can be pushy sometimes. But just because he needs social contact so much. Awww, he's so adorable, ain't he >.<

He had one, indeed, but only for a couple of days, as a try. His bangs were longer, and he had a bried tail (or however you spell it ). Lately, he sticks to his regular high pony tail, just for comfort and sexiness.

I might as well give you some detailed background on Testament as a bit of exchange, Aya-san.

He was born July 4th, CE 56, to a particularly feared family going by the last name of "Reily". Zala was the surname he used in service with ZAFT to make sure he was identified as Athrun's brother, but obviously he has no attachment to him.

At the age of 5, the Reily family was dissolved thanks to an attack by EA forces on their home. His parents were killed in the process; seeing them both die by gunfire gave Testament painful psychological trauma that resurfaces in the form of a nightmare repeating that same scene over...and over...and over. It's left a possibly permanent imprint on his thinking.

From the age of 6 'til he reached the age of 10 he stayed in ORB, trying to make a living out of his broken life 'til a ZAFT soldier going by the name of Shou "Skyshatter" Kanzaki ran into him; he saw the last remaining remnants of the young man's potential and sought to restore it, so he took Testament under his wing and trained him to be an ace pilot 'til he reached the age of 14. It was extremely difficult, and Testament nearly gave up in the first half year of his training, but Shou put his faith in him and convinced him to continue onward. His training ended 16th June, C.E. 70, about a month before he was enlisted. Eventually he became a soldier in the ZAFT forces at the age of 15 using his facade, and gained a supersquad with two other members in it; Angelo Takakusaki and Thentavius "Fleetbreaker" Yamamoto.

Yep, that's the word I was looking for ( for what I wrote, hahahahahahaha).
Well, it suits him better than you'd expect. That's because the braided part of the tail starts quite lower than normally. It's a rather wide tail, and he uses some sort of natural gel to make the end part of it look pretty wild and untamed (like him ). Plus his side bangs are a lot longer than usually, so it's really not that bad looking.
He sure has had a lot of different hairstyles already the past two years

A bit cooled down actually. He finally seems to realize she's Longshot's partner. He had a little crush (and a one night stand !) with a woman from the Northern clan. But she turned out to be a spy. Luckily, Toda saved Kuro's butt in time.
Also, there's this girl named Sakura that has a huge crush on Kuro, but she's too shy to tell him, and he hasn't understood the clues she and the others gave yet (he can really be such a dumbass sometimes XD)

He and Kuro have several things in common, like the parents getting killed in front of them. Well, in Kuro's case it was only his father, but the way he got slaughtered was more horrifying, so for Kuro it must have been the most traumatising sight ever.

You know, I wish this would have been part of the original plot, I truly mean it ! It would given it such a wide dimension.

He certainly wouldn't be the same if that was part of the original plot; he'd probably be holding his head in pain when he starts recalling that moment - the way his father was killed.

Myeah, good point. But in case not, I would've really liked to see this in the SEED series. Just like Allelujah-Hallelujah is a nice spice-up for 00.

Eeto...which one do you mean exactly (as in what do you mean by seeing it in SEED canon)?
